St. Pete Beach Suites

Location was good, lovely and quite at night, clean, comfy bed and enough facilities to make our stay enjoyable. two pools which when we visited end of March were quite considering Spring Breakers, one heated one not. Availability of additional items to help yourself to when you got low. ie toilet rolls, kitchen roll

Bathroom was very small and toilet awkward No reception help desk or anyone around when you needed them. I had a fall by the pool and broke my wrist, we would have reported it if we could have found anyone around both that afternoon and the next morning before we left the property. Different levels around the complex which contributed to my fall although marked up would have been better if ramped rather than step

My wife and I enjoyed both pools and the easy walks to the beach. Close to restaurants and fun little tiki bar.

Lack of hot water, no extra toilet paper...and no cleaning staff.

We booked a room last minute for two nights. Easy to book and quick check in. The admin/manager warmly greeted us upon arrival. We were able to check in an hour early. The grounds are cute, with old Florida charm. The walk to the beach was only 3 min. The room was clean and nice, except for the couch which had several stains. We just covered the couch with one of the blankets that was provided. Beds were comfy, the kitchenette had what we needed, the room temp was nice & cool. We texted the admin/manager to request extra towels and they were very responsive. We were directly across from the Cool Vibes bar, and we weren’t bothered by late night noises. Truly - our only issue was the couch! We would stay here again.

While the location is perfect and the hotel and room was clean , we came across a few hiccups during our stay. The washer and dryer was broken, the tv/cable didn’t work, and the wifi was spotty. One of the beds kept falling through the bed frame each night and we couldn’t open any of the dated windows for fresh air. We were there Friday- Tuesday and didn’t see the site manager door open once. They were available via text but took a bit to respond.

We love this place -- third time we've stayed there. The sort of mom-and-pop feel and low-key vibe is excellent.

This time, though, we could have used a little more attentiveness from the staff. Much of the day it seemed no one was around, and when we needed some basics -- a toilet plunger, or to ask why some of our rooms had water and some didn't, or why some rooms had a parking pass and some didn't, it was hard to find someone.

Clean and safe area for kids Pool was warm and clean.

Bar across the street played music late in to the morning hours. (TIL 4am)
