Garner Hotel Paducah West

Not much of a selection

I had read the reviews on this hotel so I decided to book our stay. The price was good too which was an incentive. Check in went good and we were able to get 2 rooms together for our family. Our room was okay, but a lightbulb was missing in the lamp by the bed, and the body wash in the shower was empty. Our second room also had an empty soap dispenser by the sink. I asked for a bar of soap at the desk but I was told there wasn’t any. The hallways had a strange smell, perhaps from the dogs that are allowed here. The only good thing about this hotel was the woman who was working on the breakfast service. She worked very hard to make sure everything was stocked and cleaned. I don’t think I would stay here again. They definitely need to do a better job of cleaning.

Location was fine, the poor desk clerk struggled, but was as helpful as he could be. We later learned it was his first night alone. We couldn’t get the air conditioning to work on the wall unit in our room and he came to try to fix it. He said there was no one there to fix it. So, he found a box fan for us, which helped immensely. We learned the next day that the heat/air is controlled by a wall thermostat. He wasn’t fully trained. That’s on the trainers, not him. It was a pleasant stay. One outstanding feature was the fresh ground coffee, cup by cup, at breakfast!

Clean and comfortable

Only promoted tv, no news, especially weather. No fruit. No waffles. I didn’t like that at all.

It was near every thing. Easy find. Bed was comfortable. Pet friendly

It was stains on the covers,WiFi didn’t work,dog hair in bathroom,needs a very detailed cleaning and breakfast was horrible.

Bed was comfortable and a good height! Location was good.We could not get the tv to turn channels in the bedroom. Towels were VERY scratchy.Breakfast was good. The staff was very polite and checking in was very easy! We had a good 1 night stay.We likely stay there again!

I book here atleast 2 times or more a months. I like it bcuz it’s clean & it’s in the middle of pretty much everything the mall & many restaurants. I also love the front desk staff I see them often because I book here so much & they are always nice to me

What I don’t like is the fact house keeping knocks on your door & opens it at 10:35a almost 30 minutes before I check out & this ain’t the first time they’ve done this. It’s to the point I’m about done booking here & will try my luck with another hotel in this area.

Great location, nice pool, fitness center, room was clean.
