Manhattan Hotel Salida

This is my second time staying at the Manhattan and I’ll stay again. So nice and convenient to everything I love about Salida

What a nice gem of a hotel in downtown Salida. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and close to everything. We loved our little deck for morning coffee, or afternoon libations. Loved thoughtful amenities, Keurig, microwave, refrigerator, mini Bluetooth speaker, and bath products. Bed was so comfortable! Dined at both the Boathouse and Pizza Rio next door….excellent food! Will stay here again next time I’m in Salida!

We loved the Manhattan. Great location, clean rooms, and right on the river. Will definitely stay at again.

Comfy beds and pillows. Nice little balcony overlooking the Arkansas River. Quiet ambiance in spite of being nestled among restaurants. The locally sourced soap and lotion were a nice touch as well. Just be sure to take along some Charmin as the toilet paper was brutal on the tush like what you might expect at a Motel 6 or similar price point. Paint could use a touch up. Otherwise, no complaints. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved the property. The room was great. The stairs were my least favorite, especially with luggage.

Very convenient for our short trip to Salida! Comfortable beds, clean room, easy to leave the car parked and walk around downtown Salida. Ate and drank at The Boathouse Cantina twice! Bridger our server was awesome!! The entrance is getting a little tired. Nice having coffee in the room (although the coffee choice was not very good, not crazy about the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee) and loved having half & half in the fridge.

I can’t really comment on the staff because it is all self check in without a front desk. However, the room, location and convenience were all great. Get room 1. Full of windows and sun.

The room was right above the Boathouse Restaurant. It had a tiny balcony that faced the Arkansas River and you could hear the river. It was lovely to be able to hear it and see it from the balcony. It was also close to some great shopping. We had so much fun walking around.

The initial entry is a tall stairway: plan for light luggage you can lift yourself! A charming Juliet balcony overlooks the wide & flowing Arkansas River. The interior space is light filled, with simple decor and 2 soft beds. It seemed as if everything charming, lovely, & nourishing in Salida was within walking distance from the Hotel.

It's nor a hotel. There is no reception, you never see anyone. Nobody helps you with anything. I don't understand the great reviews.
