Beautiful views

We stayed for two nights in late September for a weekend getaway in Wakefield. The hotel is in a stunning rural location on a hill overlooking the Gatineau valley, and we spend a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view of the fall colours. The room and bathroom is spacious, modern and clean, and the location is a short drive to Wakefield for restaurants, cafes, etc. Would definitely book again.

I stayed here for two nights. It’s very nice and quite place for city gateway. This place really worth the money your pay. Highly recommend.

The view is hand down

If you travel by car, it's perfect. There no public transport, restaurant, coffee shop around. I stay 2 night, pay cleaning fee but there no refill for water, coffee, and new towel.

We spent 3 days here to celebrate our anniversary. Wonderful location and view from balcony. Very peaceful surroundings with a wonderful variety of birds. It is the perfect place to relax and regenerate. Greatly appreciated that there was no noise from music or TV. Very clean. Elegant decore. Chelsea is nearby, and we highly recommend visiting Nordik spa in Chelsea.

The Lodge is advertised as a non-smoking place. However, there are ash trays on balconies, and this promotes smoking. Cigarette and marijuana smoke traveled across to our neighboring balcony. I have asthma, so this was an issue for us. Microwave is only in the common area at the entrance of the building. We thought there would be a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Bar fridge in room is good for soft drinks to be moderately cool. It's too small and too weak to keep food cold. Shower water is luke warm (waves of cold and warm). There is no option for a hot shower.
