Hotel RH Victoria & Spa 4 Sup

Me dieron una habitacion simple pequeña y sin vistas.Yo habia cogido una doble vista mar.Le echaron la culpa a Booking.Me la cambiaron al dia siguiente pero la primera noche no dormi.

We stayed in Rh Royal the sister hotel to Rh Victoria, our daughter n son in law stayed in the Victoria due to having our grandson with them, we came over to spend evening with them 15th feb and enjoyed the friendly warm atmosphere, Oliver was on entertaining that evening and tried to get everyone in to holiday spirit, our daughter showed us their room and we liked it that much we have now booked for Xmas to stay there. Hotel is spotless, staff very polite,it’s even got entertainment zone with table football. Both Victoria and Royal are beautiful we would definitely recommend they are central for both Old and New Town, the beach front is just a short walk away👌

Stayed here from 12th to 16th February, rooms were very clean and spacious, always something to eat at meal times, staff very friendly, we are going back again at Christmas for 10 days 😊

Arrived at HR VICTORIA on Saturday 14th Feb first impression beautiful hotel fantastic food and staff booked for 2 weeks all inclusive Arrived Saturday morning 6am flight from Manchester room wasn't ready no problem with that room very nice but not a lot of storage space first evening entertainment excellent but went downhill very rapidly this hotel is set up for Dutch and Belgium guests not for English, if you like line dancing this is the place for you even the artist gets of the stage and line dances and although they change artist every night they all do the same now and again you might hear an English tune sung from the sixties, I booked this holiday through TUI originally booking the flamingo oasis but received an email informing me that building work was taking place behind the hotel and giving me the option to change hotel not informing me that the hotel that we were swapping to didn't have many English guests if we had known this fact we would have stuck with our original choice I'm not blaming the victoria at all as it is a lovely hotel and if you are of a certain age it will probably suit you perfectly positioned 200 metres from the old town

Back again, after 3 years. Love this hotel. Already booked for next Winter. Comfortable rooms, kept spotless by my lovely housekeeper Isobel. The staff work incredibly hard, especially the restaurant and housekeeping staff. You should be very proud of them. Look forward to seeing you all for my 4 week stay, next Jan/Feb. Gracias.

La habitación, la terraza, las vistas y la ubicación.

Buffet de poca calidad, muy pobre, lejos de un estándar mínimo para un hotel de 4*. Las instalaciones antiguas y la zona de piscina de los años 80 o 90. Alojados a finales del mes de noviembre, la inmensa mayoría de la clientela es del INSERSO español y sobre todo, del equivalente británico.

The rooms were very nice, modern and comfortable, and the view from the 10th floor was beautiful. The location is excellent, everything is within easy reach. Breakfast was good, though not outstanding. One small disappointment was the absence of chorizo, which we have always found available in other Spanish hotels. However, the breakfast service was excellent — especially Raul and his colleague (unfortunately we don’t remember her name). They were warm, attentive and made the mornings much more enjoyable. The spa area was rather basic but very clean. Unfortunately, it had to be booked for a specific time slot and, surprisingly, there was an additional €10 per person per hour charge. For hotel guests, we believe access should either be complimentary or at least included symbolically. On top of that, wearing a swimming cap was mandatory (something we have never experienced before in other hotels) and it also had to be purchased separately. The reception staff were mixed in attitude, generally not very welcoming. The gentleman working in the spa area was particularly unfriendly, which was disappointing. Entertainment was available and fine, although it seemed more suited to a much older audience. On a very positive note, there was a lovely birthday surprise arranged at my husband’s request. The hotel really made an effort, there was even a balloon waiting in the room, which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. The outdoor pool water was very cold and not heated, so unfortunately we were unable to use it. This is another reason why spa access should ideally be included, especially on cooler days when outdoor facilities cannot be enjoyed. Overall, a good stay with some lovely moments, but a few policies and service aspects could definitely be improved

Its a beautiful hotel, with fabulous views and classy bedrooms. All kept very clean and lovely staff who give you full attention to make you feel welcome. For us though, it did not tick all our boxes. This was our 2nd stay - we got carried away and re-booked just a few days into our first stay. Altogether we have stayed a total of 6 weeks, so I think we know the hotel quite well. We paid to upgrade to a room on the 15th floor overlooking the old town with Poniente Beach. The room was really spacious and had a larger bathroom than most. The lovely round window with view of tge mountain used to make me jump out of my skin when it came crashing open if the catch came unopen. We had 2 queensize beds. The hotel impressed us as they had tuned our TV to include channels from our regional area back home. The maid was very good in changing our towels daily and bedding regularly. The floor was kept really clean, as was the bathroom. What we did not like was the way the mugs and glasses were left to drain upside down on the side of the bathroom sink (yeuk!). She was however very patient in waiting for us to vacate our room each morning. Foodwise we found that breakfast was our best meal of the day whereas dinner was lacking in flavour. If you like bread, cake, pasta, potatoes, rice and cake you will love it here, but we don't eat those ourselves. Salad bar was excellent. Seafood options were available 2 or 3 times per week and included prawns, mussels and squid. Fish on the show cooking station daily. I was put off the chicken skewers, cooked just for me, when I cit into one and it was raw inside. I complained about it and was not pleased when the manager told me that I could ask the chef on show cooking to cook it further. I reiterated that this was raw chicken but he annoyed me further by saying that people from different nationalities like their food cooked to varying degrees. I would say that no nationality likes to have upset stomach on holiday! Luckily I had not eaten the chicken but it put me off the show cooking. I have to say, what lovely staff you do have in the restaurant - they really work hard. Reception staff were good too but forgot to arrange our early breakfast for the final day - however the night manager at the Royal Hotel across the road let us into their restaurant at 6:15 am. The gym equipment provided us with a basic workout several times throughout our stay. Entertainment every night and some very talented singers and dancers, some of whom took to the dancefloor whilst singing. If you like line dancing then this is the hotel to stay at. They had practise sessions on many afternoons. We did not care for the efforts of the young animator lady who we found annoying as she treated adults like children and does not seem to know her 'true' from 'false'. She also did not realise that her microphone was too low for anyone to hear. Would we stay here again - no, because its not in the right location for our favourite bars and entertainment.
