Crown and Cushion Appleby

The crown cottage was spotless. It has everything to hand which you may of needed for your stay. The rooms was a good size and beds were comfortable. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing of an evening (after a quick drink in the pub)

The pub next door maybe noisy in the summer but all we heard was voices from the smoking area. The bannister could do with looking at, as this was loose and a concern when my 78yr old parents was using it to access the upstairs or toilet during the night.

Great evening meal and a great breakfast. Centrally located in Appleby and easy to park outside overnight. Always very welcoming and helpful bar/hotel staff

We booked last minute and when we arrived the staff were very nice. Our room was lovely. Nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner there and it was lovely. Breakfast was great too. The staff were just so helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Location was perfect, accommodation ideal for a family of four.

The Church bells every 15 minutes were a bit of a frustration when trying to get the kids to sleep, but ear plugs were supplied - didn't bother us too much.
