Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Florence I-95 at Hwy 327 by IHG

This location looked fairly new. However, upon staying it is apparent that maintenance is not of importance to the management. It felt like I was staying in a location that was due for a upgrading. I love this chain, but if I see more locations like this, I'll have to change my preferences.

Excellent hotel near Buc-ee's. Staff was great and rooms were clean and comfortable. Would book another stay when traveling I-95 in the future.

We stayed overnight on our travel. Not bad. Service is great. However bath tub is horrible designed. Somehow it's curved in at the bottom and made the tub so slippery. The drainage barely able to drain all the water. There's always a puddle of water in the middle of the tub.

Did the job well. We were there for just the night. My only concern was the breakfast… I don’t expect 5 star food, but the selections were nothing special and at 8:30 the grits were low and like cement. There were little wrapped danish that were quite stale. The coffee was very good. Overall score on the buffet would be a 2.5.

Great stay, complimentary breakfast was delicious and the service was fantastic.

Ac was loud. Road noise loud. Shades didn’t black out.

Very noisy property. The condition of the room and hotel was fine, but the constant overnight truck noise from the road outside the hotel was unbearable and both my husband and I were unable to sleep. There are two large warehouses near the property - an Amazon warehouse directly across the street and another warehouse directly behind the hotel - and tractor-trailers arrived and departed all night long. The placement of a traffic signal outside the hotel resulted in trucks constantly accelerating and decelerating as they turned into/out of the warehouse properties. We drove 12 hours that day and needed rest. If you want a good night's sleep, stay elsewhere!

The hotel was nice. Updated. Food decent. No problem. But it is situated next to a couple of Amazon like facilities. All night you hear trucks grinding gears, blowing horns etc. After a 12 hour drive I should have been able to fall right asleep. No sleep!

People were nice and room was clean but lack of water in the water dispensers and others complained about broken things in their room and it was too late at night for maintenance to fix. It was OK but not great.
