Courtyard Middlebury

It is a nice hotel with a Starbucks in the lobby. Everything is lovely and the staff was courteous and helpful. It is outside of town but an easy drive to downtown Middlebury.

Very clean and comfortable!

The location was very good. It's a small and pretty town. I had to walk only 25 min to get downtown. The staff was very kind. The rooms was big and clean.

The options for breakfast are kinda limited. It would be nice to have a pool.

Daily or at least every other day housekeeping service would have been appreciated.

I am requesting a refund for a sleepless night with very loud next door people.

Location and price were terrible, and loud neighbors.

Everything was very nice and clean and comfortable. Well located. Same problem here as in our last courtyard in Saratoga springs that the food concession area was poor.

I had asked for an upgrade with a jacuzzi we were given a room with a jetted tub, which is not a jacuzzi .Hated paying for an upgrade when I got what I didn’t ask for .

Stayed for a little over 10 days. Stayed on 3rd floor facing front of hotel. It's across the street from Hannaford (supermarket), TJMaxx, McDonald's, and a few other spots. Room was clean. Not old, not modern, but clean. Fridge and microwave in room. We had a king bed and a pull out sofa. They made the pullout bed for us in advance of us checking in at our request. Breakfast and dinner is sold at the restaurant on the main floor of hotel. Breakfast has limited menu but was good. We ate French toast, eggs, bacon. And potatoes. All very tasty. Starbbucks coffee available. Dinner menu is limited but tasty. We had salad, burger, grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, and buffalo wings. Buffalo wings were especially tasty. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Town of Middlebury is quiet and clean. Exercise room has two treadmills, one elliptical, dumbells, and a bench. Contrary to other reviews that may be outdated, there is no pool on site, nor is one under construction. There is an elevator in the hotel. There is on site free parking.

When we first came to Middlebury, because of the College, we stayed at this hotel for a few days. The physical facility is pretty nice. However, the staff could be much better. The rooms are standard Courtyard rooms, moderate size and clean. The facility has a small gym, a fire pit in the back, a restaurant, and lots of places to sit and talk both inside and outside. On the other hand, the front desk staff could do a better job. We had an incident in which one of the people in our party had left his key in the room. He had to fight with the man at the front desk to get him back into the room, because the person whose name was on the reservation was busy in a business meeting at the time. After spending some time looking into what happens, I concluded that the situation could have been handled much better. We had tried to get a complimentary upgrade as we are Platinum with Marriott. No matter what we said, the reception staff refused to budge. There were other issues as well. We have long believed that visiting a small town should be a welcoming event, the staff of this hotel undermined that precept.
