Rodeway Inn Waterford - New London

Of all my research, this was the most affordable and cleanest lodging. I will stay here the next time I visit my sibling at Connecticut College too. I will say to bring your shower shoes and don't walk barefoot (just in general, the place was clean just old), and the room smelled heavily of perfume or strongly scented cleaning product. I was able to air it out by opening the windows. Also, the AC made the room feel uncomfortably damp, so I got by with the window open or it being cold enough at night to keep my window shut. There was a kitchenette, but no pan, sponge, plates, or silverware, etc. Microwave and mini fridge were very helpful. Location was near a Target, Walmart, McDonalds, Texas Roadhouse, and the highways.

Good location off 95. Close to Mohegan Sun and Mystic Seaport

It was nice to have a decent sized refrigerator with freezer and a microwave.

The shower was not clean. There was hair from a previous person staying there and the shower curtain was yellowed and dirty. The bath towels were very small and thin and didn't dry well, they had less material than many hand towels I have seen. The bedding was uncomfortable and dated. The air conditioner was extremely loud. The room was dusty.

Its a good place to spend a night if nothing else is available. Everything was clean and look nice nothing fancy. But the bed is like a hammock you cant lay or move without feeling like you're going to fall it moves completely. The couch in the room was bent in the middle. But cleanness is good.

It was very cozy and the room was comfortable and clean.

Pool closed kind of early and they closed it down for rain, but it wasn't raining.

The breakfast and coffee was nice. The staff was nice.

Breakfast could be better with a few more options. Pool hours could have started earlier and gone later into the evening. A few more pool umbrellas would have been nice too. The pool was nice and clean though, a real treat.

Good location close to freeway, clean, reasonably priced.

The vending machine was out of bottled water.

Convenient and great price for the short stay.
