The hotel was great! It was clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Everyone was nice. Hot breakfast and a great location. Newer hotel

The staff member who checked us in was great. I did not get his name but he has only been there for almost 4 months.

The first-floor rooms were full, and you don't have an elevator to assist people who are handicapped. I realize having a reservation would take care of that but when you're traveling and don't know how far you will make it in a day, it's not always convenient for the traveler.

Cody at the front desk checked us in and was extremely helpful and accommodating to our requests. The lobby is very nice, but the rest of the hotel is very old and needs to be renovated and updated. The towels were in need of replacing, there was no wall thermostat, furnishings old, no USB outlets in the rooms, electrical issues (when using the treadmill a circuit blew, the treadmill stopped and I was in a dark fitness room), when using the waffle maker at breakfast it blew the circuit breaker again. It has only 2 floors, but there are no elevators for the 2nd floor, pool area and fitness room look worn down. Staff were friendly, unfortunately the hotel needs to be updated.

Room smelled like smoke, we let them know as there is a 200 cleaning charge for smoking. We didn't move because there were lots of families with young kids running in the halls and at the pool and the room we had was quiet. The pool was empty the second night (weeknight) we were there and nice. But too busy to use the other nights. Close to downtown area with food and short 20-25 minute drive to national park south entrance.
