Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center

Great location in Midtown walking distance to MARTA and restaurants. Clean safe area on Georgia Tech’s campus. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond, especially Jennifer who offered me an early check-in which was a huge help! The room was extremely clean, well decorated. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and professional. The amenities were great too…a microwave in the gift shop, plenty of spaces to watch FIFA, a safe area to wait for ride shares, laundry n drying machines, pool and jacuzzi. It all made our first trip to Atlanta memorable, convenient, and safe.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I enjoyed the food very much.

At arrival, check-in was seamless and they honored the free parking offered from our booking. The room was a bit dated, the bathroom didn’t have a fan, our landline telephone stopped working and some of the outlets didn’t work properly. You must also request housekeeping services, otherwise they may or may not clean your room. And when they do, the staff are knocking on doors by 8:30am in the morning, which felt ambitious. The walls are also very thin, you can hear your neighbors and every door open and close, non-stop. I do think they are aware of the noise issue, as they leave earplugs in your nightstand. The staff were very helpful though, despite our issues, so there are no complaints about how we were treated. The hotel is also close to restaurants, but you must make sure you go down the right streets (find Peachtree Street and you’ll be fine). In short, we would not return to this hotel and don’t recommend it if you’re seeking higher quality spaces.
