Hotel Koch Schilt

The location of the hotel is really good. Friendly staff.

The room was unbelievably hot. There was no air circulation with windows only on one side. and we believe part of the floor heating was even on (it was mid of July, 30 something degree in Germany, no air con). We booked for the family room but should be at least warn for the unbearable hot room situation, so we can at least have a chance to choose to go for the family room or not.

Nice hotel what has everything you expect from a hotel. The room we had was very spacious and had a balcony with beautiful views. The beds had height adjustable slatted floors. Of course we also ate in the accompanying restaurant. It was delicious. You can enjoy cycling or hiking from the hotel.

Maybe you can sleep well here but please don't go for something to eat in the afternoon. Then they only serve pflankuchen of which they should be ashamed (just baked flour with hardly anything on it). No excuses, no alternative just cash the bill. Very unpleasant and unprofessional people! We are still angry with ourselves that we've paid the bill.

Went to this hotel to get away from it all - couple of days of R&R with some hiking in the neighborhood. The hotel is cosy, family run and offers besides B&B also half-pension, which I had. The room I had was very clean, not very large but had everything you need. Dinner was excellent, and service in par with it. Enjoyed the days, and would recommend this place to all looking for an active long weekend or short stay near Luxembourg.

Great place fare price. Nothing special on the location but it is very near all the tracking roads and some of the Eifels most beautiful places. Good kitchen we never tried the hotel. I recommend the food value for money and local German food .......
