Clarion Suites at the Alliant Energy Center

Extremely convenient with free shuttle ride into Downtown. Staff is very friendly and the Hotel is clean and perfect.

We were in Madison to move my son into his dorm at UW. Because of last minute changes we split our stay between Double Tree and Clarion. Although a bit on the outskirts of town it was only three minutes away. Our bathroom was spotless, room was extremely clean and the microwave came in handy. WiFi worked well. The staff was super friendly. All our needs were met and they gladly transported us into downtown several times. They also served breakfast and the dining room tho not modern…was well lit and clean.

We were put into a disabled room with a queen bed; the hotel was not busy so would have preferred a regular room with a king bed. The hotel seems dated.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Staff friendly, except night attendant was a little rude, clean, decent breakfast.

Bathroom in Room 306 was in bad shape. Sink had dark scratches near sink. Bathroom door frame peeling. Sink was so low it appeared to be for handicap person but room was not handicapped equipped. Hotel needs a major renovation.

Although the rooms were clean they weren't in very good condition, there was peeling paint all over the bathroom door, the shower curtain rod seemed unstable, and the furniture was very worn. The bed was way too soft and the frame seemed broken, and the couch was incredibly uncomfortable. Even though it was August and I understand prices will be higher, for $190 per night I expected it to be in a little better condition. On the plus side, the room was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff is great but facility is very dated and in disrepair

This motel is situated perfectly for me between relatives in Madison and Fitchburg. Easy to drive to and get to places I want to go. The only limitation is not being able to walk to even limited shopping or eating. Although the breakfast was more than adequate at the Clarion.
