Friendly responsive staff. Pool area was close to road. Beach was small and crowded.

The hotel was lovely, staff was great, pool was clean, warm and updated. Although, the pool maintenance came at 5 while the whole pool area was filled and told us all to leave. That shoulddnt have happened. Our little studio was very clean and set uptime but the bed was HORRIBLE! They need a new mattress and chairs. It is time!

Always love staying here, and I know this whole area is still struggling to come back from all the hurricanes. Last time we had a stovetop, but this unit was a little smaller, and had just a microwave. I would suggest some kind of safety bar in the shower. It's a big shower, and can get slippery.

Perfect quiet place to be for a family. It’s like a home away from home.

I’ve been coming back to this resort for many years. We tried a couple other places just to mix it up, and no where else comes close to Tortuga Inn. The location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach and contrary to what someone else said, the small two lane road you cross to get to the beach is very easy to cross, and someone is always willing to stop and allow you to cross. But most times I’ve been there it’s not been THAT busy. The rooms are impeccably clean and modern. There is even a sprayer for your feet when you come back across to spray the sand off your feet. We are booked again for this next spring and cannot wait! Love love love this place!! ❤️

Pros: The beach across the street was Pros: The beach was absolutely beautiful - with white sand, and the prettiest shade of blue water I've seen! We booked a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit which worked well for our family - the kitchen had everything we needed. Cons: You do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, which can be challenging with young kids. They were hosting a family reunion when we were there, and the pool got pretty crowded and loud...as did the beach area. They set up 2 enormous tents on the beach, and blared loud music, partied and danced. We were surprised AMI and the resort allowed this on the beach. It pretty much spoiled the peaceful calm of the ocean. The Tortuga staff did ask them to stop the party at dusk, which gave us a little peace in the evening.

Very nice condo. Kitchen was very well equipped and clean. We loved the location. Beautiful beach and easy access. We will come again!!

Definite hurricane damage but the staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable. Private beach with beach chairs provided. Located next to a jet ski rental which was great. The main pool is not back and running yet but there is still one to use. Very very clean room
