Schönes Ammertal zwei großzügige Ferienwohnungen ab 80qm

So very clean!!! Central location. Pretty church nearby. Non-smoking property. Surroundings. The mountains. The creek. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and climbing. No car is needed, you can reach everything via foot from the village. Plenty of traditional, relatively well priced restaurants in walking distance. Check out the alms around. It's always worth a visit for traditional food. Don't worry, you'll walk off the calories getting there. The owner, M, who lives next door with their family, is very friendly, accommodating, and approachable. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable sofas and beds. The cosy kitchen was a hit to hang out in. Recycling your rubbish is recommended, and the system is well set up. Appreciated the day bed in the lounge for the occasional afternoon nap. Good WiFi. The very spacious bathroom holds a sauna. Unfortunately, it was too hot outside to use it. A free car parking permit for the surroundings was provided. Thank you. We had a wonderful stay. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

There was nothing I didn't like. For those not in the know, most German tourist locations charge a Kur-tax. For Oberammergau, it was €2.50/person/day. Be prepared to be asked to pay in cash on arrival. The tax goes to the council, not the property owner. In general, cash still gets you a long way in Germany.

Perfect for a family stay. Facilities were well thought. We felt ourselves at home. Landlord was very helpful.

Amazing hosts! Marlene welcomed us when we arrived, communication was super easy, apartment was perfectly equipped for kids, and sparkling clean. When we left, our rental car broke down, and Marlene’s husband picked us up from the local playground and kept our luggage until the rental agency sent us another car from Munich. I can’t praise them highly enough, wonderful people!

Everything was perfect

The hosts are amazing, Marlene and her husband make you feel like at home immediately! We've stayed for two nights and have prepared breakfast. The apartment has all the required condiments and tools. There is a washing machine which was handy for us too. A small but so carrying detail - if guests require, there are additional towels provided (opposite to some other places that charge for making bedsheets on your bed 😀) Location is great for exploring the town and nearby locations like Castles, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and other places, for morning jogging, there is parking available right next to the place and outlets for food.

A very nice stay in the very center of Oberammergau, although very quiet. Bakery, restaurant, bus station - everything is located in the walking distance. Very good contact to the owner who lives just next to this house.
