This is a great place with a very friendly set of staff in an awesome quirky location which is quiet and adorable but very close to the major shops bars and restaurants. I also like that you have cooking facilities outside most of the rooms on the size of the room is quite significant, they offer a great breakfast and there is always someone around who you can chat to

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer

We stayed 14days with family at Saskara and had a good time. It’s a kind of traditional homestay which shields you nicely from the noise of the city around you. The pool in the center help to stay cool. The delicious breakfast in the morning with a good Balinese coffee helped us start our days great.

The rooms are spacious but a bit dark at least those around the pool. But sometimes that comes as a relief when we wanted to escape the heat.

Location , and Cafe next door has good food and good service

Staff wouldn't give me internet password, dirty sheets, air-conditioning not working properly. Nothing good to say about this stay , stayed 1 night out of 2 booked.

The room was not in any way as advertised. It was old, dark & mouldy. The shower was only cold water and the nozzle was broken, so you had to hold it the whole time while showering. The bathroom door was broken, the sink was broken so you had to use the shower to wash your hands. We slept with the lights on because there were huge cockroaches. There was only a fitted sheet and a tiny sheet on the big bed, no top sheet or anything to get underneath, I used my sarong. We booked with our friend and they didn't hold his reservation, so they walked him to another hotel when we arrived, so we couldn't stay together. We left after 2 days, when we booked 7 and they won't respond to booking.com's customer service or me to refund the unused days, so essentially they're stealing 200 dollars from us. Brutal. Stay somewhere else.
