Sosua by the Sea Boutique Beach Resort

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and I was dissapointed. Since the very first moment I get in, I knew something it was not right. The room was clean, little old but clean, the air conditioned was not good, there were not fan, we went out for that night and report it. They promised they would fix by the time I come back but it did not happen, Next day, I was moved into another room with better AA. As far as drinks, there is only one bar for the whole complex, with very limited selection. As far as the food, the worst!! they food is really terrible and hope is a coincidence; but some pork they served for dinner, it was served at lunch next day. I would not returned for any reason ever.

This was my third time in The Dominican Republic and by far this was the worse vacation in that country that I have yet to experience. If you are traveling with your family, please go to another city like Puerto Plata or Punta Cana. Sousa is a place for single men looking to have a good time. The Hotel itself was terrible, the food, or lack there of, was appalling. The waiters acted as if you were bothering them when requesting an “all inclusive” service. They did not even supply the rooms with bottled water on a daily basis.

We found the hotel very disappointing. We had no balcony or view of the ocean. We had a view of a brick wall with barbed wire. We also found no ammenities in the room. We had to move three times due to a leaky toilet, no air conditioning or a bad shower.

if you want to relax, rest, and a peaceful please to stay this is it.

during the summer . i went to sosua for a week that was the wost week of my life. First , at the Airport no bus from the hotel was there for pick up .Eventhough, i have been charged for ground transportation .my first and last i had to sent extra money to save my life i did not know where , i was going. Thank god i'm still a life as an educator, i will informed my co-woker about that terrible bad experience I HAD i'm still waitting for my ground transportation soon i will put more information on facebook and utube if i do not here from you guy.behave yourself

Room was a good value for the money. Food was excellent. Get the all inclusive package, it is well worth it..

I would give this hotel 4 stars if it weren't for the ants. Not exactly sure why they were on the fourth floor, and in my room, but I suggest If you bring food that you keep it in the fridge. The room are excellent and the view of the ocean is gorgeous. Delicious food, fantastic people. I will definitely go back in the future.

I really like the location, close to town but also close to quiet, on 2 beaches, dive shop on site, our room was comfortable, the place is well maintained, we had a great time

I chose the hotel based on other reviews on various websites. I was looking for something more tranquil than the usual all-inclusives. From the reviews, I'm guessing that the hotel has its fans. I was put off immediately upon entering my room and seeing bits of the ceiling and wall plaster sprinkled at random intervals, the lack of window screens, and only half of the lights working. The property is very basic, adequate for the price, and a good location for access to restaurants and shops around the town. Most importantly, it's NOT on a beautiful beach. The beach is completely washed out and the hotel is nestled on an outcropping of rocky crags with only very small patches of access to the water.

This hotel misinformed me that they had access to its own private beach, and modern tv etc.
