The Senator Hotel & Conference Centre Timmins

Nice room, very clean. Sketchy neighbourhood and building.

our stay was better than expected because we read some bad reviews before checking in. rooms are clean and quiet. however, hallways and elevator smell like an old building. there is a gate to the parking garage which makes you nervous that the area is not safe, although we didn't see anything unsafe. overall not a bad place to stay. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

The downtown area in Timmins is full of drug addicts who don't even hide when injecting themselves with street drugs. All around town are people pushing shopping carts with their belongings. Sad to see how Timmins went down that path. This used to be a clean city.

Very old. Smell is bad. Unsafe area to walk. Even scared to park car in underground parking. Needs major upgrades.

Wifi wasn’t the greatest

internet was terrible. off and on connectingz but it’s good! was very grateful
