Lighthouse Inn at Aransas Bay

The location was good, room was clean.

Pool area was super crowded and loud. I think there was a party going on. I don’t mind people having fun and playin music but it was way too loud for anyone in their rooms to try and rest I can’t imagine why management did not do anything about it.

I liked location of property which is next to water and has a fishing pier. also liked the fact that it has bbq pits that can be used for cooking.

breakfast was ok but expected a better quality based on the price i paid for my stay. i was also disappointed that the bar did not know how to make any bar drinks that i wanted. i asked for a margarita, Long island Tea and other simple drinks and bartender did not know how to make not a single one; i asked for a moscow mule and he said he didnt have the ingredients to make. so i decided to drink water with my meal instead. i decided to have dinner at hotel restaurant and food was good however the plates which me and family was served were ugly and wasted. they looked like regular school lunch plates. i was so disappointed. I was very disappointed that the elevator did not work for my whole stay. some employees stated that it breaks every week. i spent almost 900.00 for a 3 night stay, and i dont think its worth it. will not consider staying there any longer unless they change things around. i also found out that the hotel was filing bankruptcy which explains the status and quality of hotel.

The pool was great. I also loved the view off of the dock.

Screaming kids in the pool at 11 PM when I was trying to sleep. Then screaming kids again at 7 AM.

Air conditioning so loud like air planes motor. We can’t sleep all night. We can’t wait to get out this place . No telphone in the room.

Breakfast was a little bland, not terrible but the food was barely warm in the containers the staff had used to stock the food items. We decided to try dinner and it was very decent however if I had to be critical, I would avoid decorating the key lime pie with green dyed gel, making it taste more artificial.

The thermostat was slightly difficult to regulate. It certainly felt as though the temperature was indeed colder than what the display was set for.
