The Bellmoor Inn and Spa

This was a very disappointing stay. I'm giving it 3 stars, instead of fewer, because there are many things I like about the hotel. The problem for us was that the room they put us in was not nearly as good as I would have expected from a nice hotel like this. We were in one of the garden rooms, which looked out on stairs, not a garden. the room was very small and had a tiny bathroom in which you have to turn sideways to shut the door. The bathroom has no sink and the small tub shower is slippery, which can be dangerous. There is a sink outside the bathroom, in the room. One of the worst features was an HVAC appliance that looked like it was from the 1980s, which made a huge amount of noise and went off and on all night, waking us up regularly. I finally turned it off, deciding that cold was better than that noise. I was annoyed later to realize there were better rooms available in the main building. As I said, there are many good things about the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is decent and plentiful, the spa is very good, and the bartender (Rick) is great. The main building is nice, with some nice common rooms, including one cozy room with a fire. In fact, I would probably stay there again if I could be sure I was getting a room in the main building and not one of the tiny, uncomfortable garden rooms.

Library was a great place to relax. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Rooms were well organized and and comfotable.

Can't think of any problems all went smoothly.

The location is perfect; off from the crowd but close enough to walk to the beach. The garden area is a quiet bonus. The rooms are spacious. The service is very attentive from the time you drive onto the property til the time you leave. Breakfast is great as well as the afternoon cookies, tea, coffee and drinks. We have been going twice a years and plan to continue. E Williams

We loved being seated for breakfast in the mornings. (And the offerings for breakfast were terrific!) And we enjoyed some quiet time outside in the patio area, which had plenty of seating and a koi pond. Best of all, it was great to be so close to everything in Rehoboth!

Our room felt a little small, but really it wasn't bad.

So close to the beach, with lovely, clean rooms and an amazing buffet breakfast! We really enjoyed all of the homemade baked goods and the lovely outdoor patio and koi pond.

Great location, short walk to boardwalk, shopping, restaurants, nicely appointed rooms, good breakfast, lovely spa (ask forTabitha) We like the quiet calm of pre-season April.

Clean, updated, comfortable, nice amenities such as a bar and dining room, spa, hot tub and pool in season. Easy off street parking, walk to shops, beach or restaurants, Great staff and service. Highly recommended.

Everything about the hotel and staff was excellent but for one issue. The television in our room had a reception that was scrambled the entire time we were there. I heard another guest complain of the same problem and I reported the issue to the front desk. They told me to try another station but it was no better. I believe it was a faulty TV but no-one cared enough to have it fixed.
