We were traveling to New Britain for a funeral, I reserved two rooms one for me and my partner and the other for my son and his girlfiend. The lobby and halls smelled of pot, the carpeting was filthy in the elevator and halls, the bathroom floor was very dirty and the remote for the television was greasy. But that's not the worst of it. We went out to the funeral service and returned to the hotel later that evening. Evidentley my son was not checked in properly and it looked as though his room wasn't paid for which we were unaware of until the security guard and another hotel staff member banged on my son's door at 3:00AM and harrassed my son for not paying for the room and demanding that they leave. My son informed them that his mom paid for both rooms and was very upset after much back in forth of argumenting the police were called and my son made the two hour drive home. Why did't the staff inform me that there was a problem with the room and deal with the situation upon our return earlier that evening? Instead they chose to resort to harrassment and strong armed tactics. Needless to say that our stay was a nightmare, we plan on reporting the incident formally. Stay away from this hell hole at all costs!
