Excellent personal service

My husband and I had been to Carneros a couple times, but we recently brought our 5 year old daughter along and it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever taken as a family. The resort typically feels like an adult space, so its ability to transform into a family friendly cozy spot is pretty remarkable. I appreciate how subtly they work in options and activities for kids while they maintain a quiet, peaceful environment. We toured the property’s bee hives and gardens and were spoiled by COO Michael Ford there and then throughout the rest of our trip. We went on the Little Green Thumb garden tour with Chef Jeffrey Jake. My daughter and I had the most amazing afternoon with him while my husband enjoyed the spa. We had anticipated needing to leave the resort throughout the long weekend to keep our daughter occupied, but there was so much to do and eat and enjoy onsite that we hardly touched our car. Everyone left the vacation relaxed, recharged and bonded. Also depressed since we didn’t want to go. Thank you, Carneros, we can’t wait to see you again!

Beautiful resort. Our second stay there. However it is a bit outside of the valley.

The hotel and property was beautiful but with the cold season, we felt the temperature of large pools should've been adjusted to fit the season so we could enjoy it more to make our money worth. Our bed was not comfortable at all. We woke up being stiff for two days during our stsy.

Wonderful experience. Our concierge, Nina, was amazing. Farm restaurant was fantastic. Availability of hydration/drinks was limited. We loved our stay

Very relaxing environment and cute small cottage layout. Felt private and safe, with nice visual design of the cottages and of the grounds.

There were numerous small maintenance issues with the cottage. It was hard to open the door, a window wouldn't open, the phone cord was tangled, a light bulb in bathroom was strongly flickering and the tea pot was slimy inside. I think this hotel could do a better job on service and maintenance of the cottages. For the price, quality of maintenance of the room was below expectation. The comments of the issues above were in the second room we were put into. The first room's glass door to the patio had bent hinges and wouldn't completely close and latch. So because both rooms had issues, I assume it is a more general issue at this property.
