Travelodge by Wyndham New Philadelphia

If you count blood on the wall windows curtains, bedbugs, the bathroom mirror, splattered with I don’t even know what the floor is so slippery you could fall and break your neck. Cigarette burns in the comforters. The stench was so bad you couldn’t even breathe. Totally totally would not stay at a travel Lodge ever again, had to fight to get my money back because of third-party booking made my life awful my vacation awful and all they could say is I’m sorry

On the positive side, the location is quiet and convenient. The staff tried to be helpful. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the facility is old and hasn't been maintained well. The room had poor ventilation and a disagreeable smell. The corners and shelves in the room were dirty. And the nonstick coating on the tub was wearing off and got our feet dirty. In addition, our key cards didn't always work, and the free breakfast was skimpier than in most budget lodgings. While the motel isn't truly horrible, it was a couple of notches below what we expect in this class.

Dingy, old, non professional staff.

The rooms were a very good value. A good sized small refrigerator, small microwave, decent sized TV and comfortable bed were all pluses. The Tub and floor in front of the tub could have been cleaner. But the sink area and the rest of the room were perfectly clean. The outdoor pool and pool area were clean and well maintained. The location was great. Overall a great value. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

The room smelled so bad i got sick and had to leave with no refund

It was on a busy roadway with lots of traffic. The entire motel needed a lot of maintenance. It was old and run down. There was NO room service. When we asked for more supplies (shampoo, soap, toilet paper and clean towels) it was the poor girls at the front desk that took care of it for us. The room also has a musty smell when first entering the room,

Signage could be better lit.

This is an older property. The door to the bathroom did not close completely. Door needs trimmed. Most everything else worked okay. Frig and microwave were nice features for the price of the room

Breakfast was very skimpy. Toaster did not work. Only one kind of bread and no bagels or fresh fruit. 3 tiny muffins. Hot water for tea wasn’t ready and out at 630. Otherwise no other suggestions. Clean and comfortable. Check in girl friendly.
