"Spent a beautiful few days at the Amara"

This is a perfect hotel situated right in downtown Sedona. The hotel is clean and the views are beautiful. The staff will happily provide you a ride in a golf cart to the main road to enjoy the restaurants and shopping. The concierge, Teah, was fantastic in helping me plan my stay. She recommended great dining and hiking options! I treated myself to the spa as well, was pricey but worth it!

"Beautiful resort except for the barking dogs"

Resort is very nice with a great view. Service was great - the valet people are very quick and responsive. The salt rock restaurant is very good. Amazing views from the pool and recreation area. Pool area is very nice (you dont really need a room with a view - they are angled so you dont see much and you can see everything you need from the common area. Only complaint was that its a 5 star "relaxation resort" and I got woken up at 7am by dogs barking for 15 minutes in someones room. I have dogs - love dogs - but dont want to be woken up my someone elses dog in the morning when I'm paying to relax at a high end resort. If I had been playing loud music at 1am and waking people up Im sure the hotel would have dealt with it quickly. There needs to be some stricter policies around noise levels.

"An Oasis in Sedona"

We were very pleased we chose Amara for our stay in Sedona. It was in a great location, walkable to almost anywhere in town we wanted to go, but felt like we were in an oasis because of where the resort is situated. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and went above and beyond what we expected. Valet was fast and efficient. Because we had an exceptionally early flight on our departure day, they left our keys with the front desk and ensured our vehicle was parked right in front so it was a very simple departure. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Way overpriced. Many children during spring break time. Needs a facelift , painting, walls very thin. Pictures are very misleading and do not portray how worn the hotel is.

"Great customer service"

Had breakfast our first full day at Amara / SaltRock restaurant. Valentina was awesome! She greeted us with her beautiful smile and recommended the green juice for my husband and the pineapple mimosa for myself. Both were delicious! Thanks Valentina for making our first day memorable and looking forward to her beautiful smile and recommendations on our day too!
