The Foothills Inn

Hotel and room were bit dated but very clean (except desk chair!) good bedding.

Personnel not very talkative, breakfast nothing to talk about (bagel or cereals) no juice, yogurt etc. Warning sign in the room: not to smoke, make spots etc. not showing much hospitality…

Nice quiet and clean hotel

Man hat bekommen, was man bezahlt hat. Wir waren zwei Nächte, die sehr günstig waren.

Der Wandföhn war kaputt und hat Funken gesprüht. Habe dann glücklicherweise einen neuen bekommen, hätte allerdings auch anders sein können, wenn keiner da gewesen wäre. Die Toilettenspülung war extrem laut. Das Klimagerät war auch extrem laut. Da hätte man auf keinen Fall schlafen können.

The room was very clean and quiet . The bed and pillows very comfortable. Price was reasonable compared to other motels in the area. Breakfast was adequate. Would like to see them add some pastries to the menu. Easy acess and there is a Perkins restaurant right next door .

The evening desk clerk was very gruff and not hospitable at all. The day desk clerk was too busy to even acknowledge my presence while I stood waiting . No smiles from any staff except the housekeepers. This was a huge disappointment to me because the previous owners and staff were VERY friendly and hospitable. I used to stay there a lot a few years back and my stay was always enjoyable. Also be aware that you will be asked to secure a $100 damage deposit up front which will be refunded to you a day or two after you check out if there is no damage. I was not told any of this when making the reservation.
