Red Roof Inn & Suites Austin East - Manor

The place was quiet, clean and easily accessible. Poor TV service. All channels were scrambled and digitized. Unwatchable. Pillows were small and hard. Room was clean and A/C worked fine. Good place for a quick overnight trip with no expectation of having anything more than a place to sleep and shower.

Friendly staff and a beautiful, comfortable room. Great job guys!

Other then getting to walking out too Late for food best experience ever

The GM was extremely rude and insulting and insisted we have our room cleaned daily each morning early even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign posted on the door. And when we objected to the intrusion he personally “supervised” the cleaning of the room and even proceeded to look through our personal belongings in the room! When my wife objected to his insolence toward her he told her we’d have to leave the hotel even though we’d paid through the week. My wife was so distraught that she began having heart issues again and I had to call the EMTs! In the meantime the manager had called the police to have us removed!

I didn’t like it.

There were bugs! Big roaches and large spiders. They do not refund dates. When I arrived a customer was begging the clerk to provide something in writing that said she never even went into the room so she could get a refund from a third party. The man refused and argued with her about providing a letter and not disputing that she never stayed there. The clerk asked us if we were checking out the following day. Not “will you be extending your stay”, but in a rude way. No breakfast.

It was clean and well maintained. The beds are a little too firm, the towels suck, and there is no pool on the property.

Easy access...but no elevator.

No option for late check out due to a later flight. Some pics on web show pool, but the pool had been cemented over. Staff was nice & room was clean. Could use an upgrade on the thin rough towels in which some had stains
