Red Roof Inn Fort Worth - Saginaw

I like absolutely nothing about this property

The incredibly rude night service woman who not only canceled my reservation for no reason at all, but was extremely rude about it when I tried to rebook

It smelled like dog feces, and urine. It was not clean. There was bugs everywhere the shower had hair and bugs in it.

The pictures are misleading, The rooms did not have a microwave or an iron. I asked the guy at the front and he stated they didn’t provide one, Then somehow he found one and put it our room. So when I asked what about the iron he stated “We don’t provide that” I was already upset to begin with because what was advertised is not what was provided. There was bad leaks in the hotel, The smell of weed filled the hallways. The sheets were dirty, the room was not cleaned at all. Overall a total mess, We checked about within 30 mins of arriving. The reason we stayed that long is because I was in the front dealing with The guy there, We came from out of town with nowhere to go. When I told Him the reasons why we couldn’t stay there followed by that they need to actually advertise what they have and take off the pictures they have online! Because they’re misleading, He made a phone call and Stated they were not giving me my money back even though He knew the reasons why. I proceeded to tell Him that it was fine but that I’d be dealing with our bank to stop the transaction.

I liked they had a room available.

It was late when we booked so at that point I thought ‘beggars can’t be choosers’. I had stayed at the Red Roof before, but this facility had a few red flags. It was late check-in for us and we had to go to a ‘night’ window to do that, we couldn’t go into a lobby. The door she told us we could go in was in the middle of the hotel and the security pad you use your card to enter was broken and only hanging on by the electrical wire and you can open the door without using your keycard. There was a grill/smoker in the parking lot so that told me people lived in the hotel, which was fine, but when we definitely did not feel comfortable leaving anything in the car and brought everything in with us. There was no elevator. When we got to our room, we had trouble with the keycard opening the door and you could hear the people walking to the doors in the surrounding rooms and see their peepholes go dark. We finally got in the room, inspected it and felt it wasn’t as clean as it should be. The comforter on one of the beds had stains on top of it, the floors could have been vacuumed better and the smoke detector was missing. We were hungry, the friend I came with and my daughter left to go get food but we decided I’d stay in the room because we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our things in the room alone. The next morning we left right at checkout.

Very dirty and unsafe area

There is no Continental breakfast, not even coffee
