This place is solid and I'll keep it in mind on the two or three times a year when I find myself near or close to Flagstaff. I was pleased with how quiet it was, even though it's right on 66 and the train line. The rooms are simple but adequate, with a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Everything is very clean. I enjoyed the nice, warm, recently upgraded shower. The breakfast includes mostly cold or microwavable items, but given the simplicity, I thought the variety was quite good.

My quibbles are pretty tiny. Be careful about trying to make a left turn out of the parking lot onto 66. Even though the speed limit is moderate, it's hard to see around the curve uphill to your right. If you need to go left, it's probably smarter to just go right and then "U it" at stoplights not far uphill. Compared to a lot of places you'll stay on the road, the parking lot is not brightly lit. But that's going to be the case in most places in "Flag," which is a dark sky city.
