Abbey Nest

Self catering. Clean and comfortable. Welcome cake and milk a pleasant surprise. Heating worked well when turned up.

Instructions assumed I came from a car park in the north of town - I came from the station in the south. Bottom step on the indoor stairs misleading - appears to merge with the floor when descending. Care needed! Nespresso machine had no instructions - or small cups to catch the coffee! ( All mugs too large for gap. )

Could do with a dishwasher

Gezellig ingericht appartement. Alles tiptop in orde bij aankomst incl de welkomscake! De regen kon niemand wat aan doen. We bleven 3 nachten. Prima keuken en badkamer. Slaapkamer met alles wat nodig is. Redelijk zacht bed wat wij wel prettig vonden; afmeting wat krap. Raam kijkt uit op the Abbey, mooi! We zorgden zelf voor ons ontbijt. Er zit vlakbij een bakker en een supermark. Bij het naast gelegen hotel the Abbey kun je gezellig eten. Ook in the George, iets verderop heerlijk Italiaans gegeten. Centrale ligging. We maakten uitstapjes naar Brighton en Rye; aan te bevelen!

De ochtendspits vanaf 07.00 uur. Er rijdt vrij veel verkeer door de Highstreet, maar dat hadden we gelezen. Na 9.30 en in het wknd weer rustiger. Voor het kleine dakraampje zou een verduisteringsgordijntje fijn zijn. Het is kruip door, sluip door voordat je het appartement gevonden hebt, maar we hadden een goeie beschrijving gekregen. Voor mensen die goed ter been zijn ( trap op ook naar slaapkamer).

Property on a busy street, could be a little noises but it is such in a prime location makes up for it.

Well furnished apartment. Fantastic views of Battle Abbey. Very central position with access to a good variety of excellent restaurants.

Bearing in mind that the property was for two, there were only two hangers in the bedroom!!! These are not expensive items but are very important for keeping clothes crease free.
