Close to expressway & a good restaurant at the hotel next door . We were able to open the window in our hotel.

The whole place smelled of mold/mildew, including the room. There was not even a hint of the smell of chlorine from the pool area & the hottub had mold in it & one working jet. The pool was obviously not clean. There was a chair in our room that should be in the garbage, half the faux leather/vinyl was scraped off, big scratches on the front of the dresser/TV stand (not really a big deal but added on to everything else, accentuated the overall crappiness). There were spider webs with debris in the corner of ceiling above the sink/mirror There was no body wash in the shower like every other hotel we stayed in the past two weeks.

"A welcoming and friendly oasis"

You never know, when stopping in a tiny town, if the hotel you choose is going to be passable or not. This was excellent, starting and ending with the staff behind the front desk, who were pleasant and helpful to a weary traveler after 9 hours of driving, as well as the next morning as I was leaving. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the bed was heaven after all that time sitting behind the wheel. Next time I'll have to try the restaurant next door.
