Guest laundry, both ice machines and vending machines were out of order. No coffee or breakfast

It seems this is locally owned. Which is a plus because I always feel more at home. This was a 1 night stay in our journey back to the Midwest. Cleanliness could be improved but overall it’s a nice little hotel. Some issues with the property I have privately messaged the place about, and hope they fix. Check in was without too much issues, had to wait a few mins to have the reservation populate into the system. Check out was easy breezy. My mom compared it to how it was in the 80s- when she went with our older relatives; you’d just leave the keys and they’d take care of the rest. No wait, no bs. Very inexpensive - nice place to sleep for the night.

Room was gross also had a bad odor. Tub was dirty. We killed 2 spiders in the room. Bathtub was also gross and had stains A/C vent had an odor like the filter has not been changed in months. Will never be back here. Not for families at all. Everything i touched felt gross and i couldn't wait to leave

Nothing worked at this motel. No vending machine, drink machine and ice machine was broken after they told me it worked. Had to go buy ice to put in our cooler. Not friendly staff

The main lights didnt work in our room, we had to use the bedside lamp, just the one because the other didnt even have a bulb. The lock on the door was broken like it had been kicked open at one point. The screen to the window was completely gone. It was musty, dank smelling through they whole hotel. Local drug addicts hung around, hanging out the screenless windows smoking. Overall felt so unsafe with my three kids. The beds where hard as rocks. Blankets had stains. It is truly my fault for forgetting to check these other reviews. I needed something last minute and the price looked good and so did the pictures... its false advertisement in every way. This place looks rundown, smells moldy and gross, and is extremely unsafe (again, why is there a broken lock on our door??) Its located in such a sketchy spot hidden away between a liquor store and a smoke shop. Save yourself the time and go somwhere else.
