GoldenEye

GoldenEye was the highlight of our trip. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant had good healthy options. Having our own personal kayak tied to our own dock was a lot of fun, and the unique feature of the room being its own stand alone unit with its own access to the river to swim in and have fun it was a one of a kind experience. The only critique which is more outside of the hotels control, is the taxi's that the hotel got for us were extremely high at $110 (plus 20 tip) to just go to a tourist spot 25 minutes and wait 45 minutes for us to go through the tourist attraction/ride, and then bring us back, was unreasonably high I felt even for the tourist/non-local price, but when I complained to the hotel they said it was standard and all taxis charge that, but I know from prior taxis they would charge us about that for using a taxi a whole day not just 2 hours. Besides that everything else was great. My girlfriend said the massage/facial at the Spa was one of the best she ever had so that is also highly recommended. Don't forgot to bring cash to tip the staff, and I like how they did not have any pressure to tip, which is contrary to outside the hotel where the tourist spots like Mystique Mountain /ziplining are overly agressive in asking for tips. This place is Jaw Dropping paradise. The problem now is finding anything that even comes close.

Meals were all excellent as were facilities and whole experience.

Beautiful! Adrian, Omar, Tyrone, and Jonathan made my stay at Golden Eye everything I was hoping for, kind, welcoming, informative, and fun. The property is breath-taking, the food is exceptional.

GoldenEye is a magical place. This was truly the most beautiful place we have visited, made more so by the extraordinary staff. Our 2-bedroom beach hut was perfection in every way. GoldenEye is spacious and allows its guests to spread out and enjoy the sun and sand without feeling confined. Chef Nick and the staff at Button Beach make the travel totally worth your while. This was our first trip, but it absolutely won’t be our last. It is more wonderful than I can put into words.

Food was very basic

It is a beautiful well-kept property set between a lagoon and the sea, with multiple options for swimming. The accommodations are quaint, charming, rustic huts but well-appointed with necessary conveniences, clean and comfortable. The staff is polite , friendly and helpful. What more could one ask for?
