Hotel shower upgrades were the best

I liked that I was close to my destination

I didn’t like the the room smelled of mildew and that my towels were damp. Luckily I don’t go anywhere without my own towels.

Our first room had a clogged sink. The front desk staff tried to fix it by putting some drain opener in the sink the next morning, but it didn’t work, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the beds in the second room were very uncomfortable. The bed I slept in had a squeaky frame and a worn mattress that sank no matter where I laid. My daughter’s bed also had a dip in the middle. The shower head in the second room sprayed water all over the bathroom floor and door. I reported this to the morning staff, but she said maintenance had already left for the day. She wrote a note for maintenance, but no one ever came to fix the issue. I mentioned it again during checkout, and the front desk staff said he would let maintenance know and also made a note about it. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed for future guests. Other than those problems, both rooms were clean, and the housekeeping and breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Honestly, my only complaint was that it didn't have an elevator. The workout room was nice. Staff was super friendly. Even though you're next to a busy road, you don’t hear it. The beds were super comfortable.

This hotel was extremely clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. I will be staying here on my next visit to NOLA.
