Lunch i kolację lepiej zjeść poza hotelem na przykład w pobliskiej Esteponie.

Came for a few days away, nice hotel, bit tired in places but the staff were excellent. We ate in the à la carte restaurants each evening and the service we received was absolutely incredible, huge shout out to Loic who looked after us every evening and went above and beyond for us and made our stay perfect Thank you

Lovely location overlooking the beach. If you want a hotel that's closer to restaurants or bars, perhaps not that suitable. However, its nor much at all in a cab to Estepona Old Town, which is lovely, so many bars and restaurants and lovely shops. We visited the market (sunday) down in the marina which is worth a visit. The Hotel itself is very lovely. The Porters and Staff on reception 5***** service. So friendly and extremely helpful. The waiters, particularly down in the buffet restaurant, a few could be much friendlier The only real gripe about the hotel : - the buffet. Please note the coffee in the machines is probably the worst we've tasted in any hotel we've ever stayed in. It's like water. Most hotels, especially a 5* should have a waiter coming around offering tea or coffee, they don't here. You need to ask for a filter coffee. We did and every day we realised we were being charged for them. Also, please note even if you're half board or all inclusive, if you order something from the kids menu - they may charge. We were told we had to order bolognese and then we're struck with how it was the same that I had helped myself too, after waiting a while it arrived and we were stung with 10 euro bill The rooms were beautiful. Lovely bed, very spacious. That made such a difference to the stay. However, there was some mould in the shower, the lighting isn't the best and quite dark applying make up The pool was nice, the attendant isn't really attending. They're present, for sure, but stay in the hut - thats fine they're doing their job, but replacement towels might keep them busier rather than in reception The bridge across the pool is lethal - do not let your kids run across it nor should you carry drinks. It needs grips or a new bridge installing, not safe no music, nor entertainment around the pool. Its a hotel with much more of a relaxed vibe There is a kids club - again relaxed. Overall a lovely stay. Probably could do with more 1/2 more staff in the restaurant, better coffee, no extra charges for food when you've already paid for it in your package Other than that, very happy

We stayed for a week recently at this hotel for 6 nights and overall we had a very pleasant stay. However we picked up on the following points. - Throughout the day housekeeping would mop the marble floors and leave no wet floor signs this occurred mainly outside the rooms and one day I went flying, it is a safety concern and can be very dangerous. - In reception there are several shops which do not open, no indication of how to buy anything if there was something you liked. There is no point of shops being there if they are not open and being used as a display. - I booked a spa treatment, I discussed previously with the lady on reception about my back condition and what would be useful for wanting a high pressure massage to relive tension. I was told the cranial massage would be the best option. As it focused on the back and shoulders. Through my massage there was no pressure and ended up with half of it being a facial. It did not state on the information that the face would be included in the massage. The lady who did my massage was lovely and was not her fault. Better communication needed. Also in the spa several amenities not working I.E showers/ steam rooms/ Saunas so was not worth going in. - Very little choice of food at all meals at breakfast there was no hot food apart from some bacon egg and sausages and an omelet station. No verity of hot food all week also at dinner I felt it lacked options and very similar dishes were served all week. We also had a al a’carte meal, for my stater I had a pate priced at €19 which was on the main buffet on the first night. One waiter in the al a’carte trying to run the restaurant was which resulted in slow service. Pictured below is the ice cream fridge one night with all of 10 options of the same flavour to serve nearly 400 guests. - Our rooms were 115 and 116 there was an aroma and smelt like drain. The mosquitos were horrendous and we were left with several bites - we asked for the rooms to be sprayed. - As we were all inclusive and paid quite a considerable amount we were not offered a drink around the pool and were not offered anything considering paying the exclusive all inclusive. What we did find funny was on our last day the all inclusive stopped at 12 o’clock but the hotel did not take into consideration that we paid for 6 days all inclusive and actually only had 5 as we checked in late on the Saturday and was stopped at 12 o’clock on the Friday as we had a late flight for the price we paid it did not meet the required standard. The staff were amazing especially Nicolette on the bar upstairs and the main lady who I think was the manager. The hotel is in a fabulous location and overall is in a lovely spot, but we did feel we paid a lot more for this holiday compared to other people.

One of the strongest point it’s the staff. Spacious rooms Good food selection Peppa it’s fantastic her good vibe makes you feel so welcome Ana maria my room attendant so polite and ready to do her best to make us happy Jose from reception at the check out Tony very good happy to do the room move for us and extend our check out Laura . One small recommendation the music can be local Spanish as well. Some Spanish dancer or something local we would have loved to see

Returned from an enjoyable holiday at Elba Estepona, the hotel is showing its years slightly and could do with some restoration in parts. We were alarmed that there was no supervision at the pool : just a first aid assistant at the children's end, but no lifeguards, and there was no control over the noxious practice of towel reservation on otherwise practicable seating. As somewhat elderly guests we would have preferred rooms closer to reception and restaurants than 423 which necessitated a lengthy trek along two long corridors to the extreme end of the hotel three or four times a day. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious, although sometimes hot water was not available in the shower, and the bath took an age to fill. The restaurant buffet food was fine and plentiful, and the service friendly and extremely attentive. We visited the à la carte restaurant but were unimpressed with very slow service and atrociously raw duck. Interestingly we stayed in September at the nearby Estepona Palace which compared very favourably (we diverted on account of reports of nearby building works near the Palace); on balance we preferred the spaciousness of the Elba restaurant and the well laid out - if somewhat careworn bedrooms.Characterful
