The Fredericton Inn

The location was great right in the middle of everything.

There was only one way to get in. You have to go past the hotel and down the road make like a U-turn to get one that one side of the road. The other entrance has been blocked off make it very difficult and very inconvenient. The room was decent water pressure was horrible

That we had to ask 3 times to get bedding for the Murphy bed Once at 11pm on the day we arrived(at midnight got a sheet and pillow no blanket or pillow cases) again at 9am the next morning (asked for pillow cases and a blanket again) nothing arrived and finally at 9pm that night when we arrived back to hotel (finally got a blanket and pillow cases)

They were very accommodating about our last minute change to bring our dog. They even provided us a room with courtyard access to allow easy access to outside for our dog.

The driveway access was a bit ackward. I also found it frustrating that the driveway access from the neighbouring mall was blocked off.

At the Fredericton Inn, we had a reasonably priced, quiet room with comfortable beds and a great shower. The gym was modest but functional. Didn't try the pool. Breakfast was tasty and not expensive. Interestingly, part of the hotel contains the NB Country Music Hall of Fame - literally a long hallway of framed pictures and bios.

Although they are in the process of upgrading, the whole facility felt a bit tired and dated. Hall carpets were stained and somewhat threadbare. Also, it appears they host large groups for various events. It may be noisy if you're there at the wrong time.

The room was beautiful.

The bathroom was old and outdated. It also wasn't clean, hair on the floor from previous guests. Also, there was a poker game going on in the one of the little conference rooms on first floor, near Exit G or H. There was lots of drinking going on and when we went in and out of the hotel, there were always people just outside the door drinking and smoking and being quite inappropriate.
