Cloverdale Wine Country Inn & Suites

Amenities were poor. Freezer needed defrosting, shower head sprayed everywhere, no lotion or conditioner, coffee was old tasting, beds were lumpy. Place was clean and neat.

We had a fine stay, but check in was done through a window slid partially open rather that at the front desk. Also, the bed frame was improperly sized, which led to her barking her shin on a piece of metal that extended six inches beyond the mattress.

I stayed there for one after a half marathon in Lake Sonoma. The property was clean, plenty of parking, and the room was ample and comfortable. Great location close to the freeway.

Definitely some appliances are older.

This is nothing fancy, but if you are looking for a place to stay for the night at a decent rate, it was clean, quiet, had all the simple amenities (microwave, fridge, etc.). It was right off the freeway but quiet. The staff was friendly!

The location, room size and a mini-fridge are nice.

We've been staying at this hotel for many years as the Best Western Cloverdale Inn and had hoped that the quality would continue under the new ownership but were disappointed. I don't think I've ever given a bad review but the beds are hard as rock and even our young friends who came along woke up with hip & back pain. Our TV cable was impossible to unfathom. The remote on-off button do nothing. We had to manually find an on switch on the back on the TV set. The cable box had no buttons. A tiny picture came on in the corner and it was only in Spanish. Channel changer didn't work. Then it wouldn't turn off so we had to unplug everything. When we called to complain they sent someone the next day who only reattached everything. He or she didn't fix it. The spa was only luke warm on our first night and on the second it was cold! Since it was freezing outside that was an awful experience. There is no more breakfast except some packaged muffins and oatmeal. The coffee in our room from packets was terrible. I think it was really old. The maid didn't even bother to make up our room one morning even though our sign was on the door. One of the two ice machines was broken! Overall, it was not a great experience and since I recommended the place to our friends who were upset about paying so much for an old worn place I was especially embarrased.
