Die Hotelbar war sehr schön.

Der Checkin Vorgang hat eine halbe Stunde gedauert. Die Zimmer waren nicht fertig, und sie haben gesagt, sie melden sich. Haben Sie bis 16:00 Uhr nicht getan und wir mussten wieder hingehen. Sie hatten mir den Preis zweimal abgebucht von zwei unterschiedlichen Kreditkarten. Ich habe bereits über booking.com angeschrieben und angerufen, aber nix passiert. Ich muss jetzt mein Geld hinterherlaufen. Nie wieder.

We have been many times before, the quality of the hotel, food, rooms and service are of a very high standard. Also the details matter, such as recognising it was our wedding anniversary through a little cake in the room. And the room cleaning teams were amazing.

On this occasion, although we knew about the lions festival we felt that this disrupted the guest experience. We were very dissatisfied that the beach club was closed, with limited space by the pool and temporary arrangements for breakfast etc. We were not made aware of this before booking and all the building work wasn’t ideal during our weekend away. Whilst we respect the importance of the festival to the hotel, our expectations of a poorer experience than normal was not managed. A real shame.

What stood out most was the level of care and attention from the entire team, especially Lorenzo and Fiona, who went above and beyond to make our experience feel personal and seamless. Every member of staff we encountered contributed to an atmosphere of genuine warmth and professionalism. The hotel also kindly accommodated our special request for a beautifully allocated room with a sea view, and every detail in the preparation was flawless — it made a very special occasion feel unforgettable. From service to setting, everything felt polished, elegant, and effortlessly well-executed. We left with nothing but appreciation and would not hesitate to return. A memorable stay in every sense.
