The Hotel Palms

Great location

We learned about Hotel Palms from their feature in Flamingo Magazine. One phone call to owner Greg sealed the deal that we were going! It was a spontaneous overnight getaway and it was wonderful. Greg listened to exactly what we were looking for, selected the perfect room for us, and created a fantastic dining plan. Hotel Palms is a special hideaway, unassuming from the outside in that it’s a former motel but don’t let that sway you. Once inside the vibe is relaxed, and you feel like you’re staying in a seaside cabana at a friend’s home. Owners Julie and Greg have thought of everything to make your stay delightful. Thoughtful touches like fun, refreshing, and different snacks/drinks that you won’t find just anywhere waiting in your room, beach towels rolled up and ready to go, quality bath essentials, and a lovely outdoor fireplace area set them apart. The bed was super comfy, it’s immaculately clean, and the furnishings have a stylish designer feel. The best part was breakfast at Pigeon Coffee: Wow! It’s onsite, steps from your door, and a neighborhood, local gem. Jamie and her mom Nancy make the most incredible, hand crafted morning beverages along with select breakfast sandwiches and bowls. I drink green tea matcha and I usually have to bring my own since many places don’t have that, but not on this trip! It was all such a treat and an incredible easy getaway that we can’t wait to repeat! If you’re looking for a change of pace from hotel chains, high rises, elevators and crowds, this is the spot.

My daughter and I have spend a short stay at the Hotel Palms after a long international travel day. We were very happy about the service and above all the cute setting and the welcoming room. we will be back!

Interesting old motel... hotels.com listing was very misleading. There are no bars on property and the "lounge" is a coffee shop open M-Thur (?!??!!??!!??).

Loved my stay. It was so cozy and great access to everything. Loved the coffee shop in the lobby (just wish it was open more days of the week). The room was very clean and comfortable. Great touches line high quality shower products and compelling magazines available in the rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

Great beach getaway! Very nice staff and great coffee!!! Walking distance to the beach. Great restaurants within walking distance as well as other retail such as Walgreens for anything forgotten. This is a hidden gem in Atlantic Beach

Genuine staff, genuine service, genuine retro with updated accents and amenities. Laid back and charming with restful courtyard, just a couple blocks from the Beaches Town Center restaurants, nightlife and, of course, the beach itself.

Love this quite small hotel.Great staff and extras in room.Will definitely stay here again when in Atlantic Beach.Don’t be fooled by the size,this is a great place to stay.

Very disappointing. Cement floor (w no rug or carpet). Very noisy party in next room, so loud felt like there was no wall between us. When I called to ask fir another room there wasn't one so I said I was leaving and wanted a refund. The person I spoke to was polite and did offer the refund, hence 2 out of 5 instead of one, but did not offer to control the party next door. So off I went to find other availability.

Excellent Great Customer Care. Room was clean and easy to ask for recommendations for eating establishments, directions, etc. Very helpful. I would definitely go back!! So much to do in walking distance as well.
