Lovely stay. The open spaces and the farm is great. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was inconsistent and the hotel rooms are due for a refresh or modern update

"Irish Couple"

Spent 3 nights in a garden view room, it was our 8th time to visit the hotel and it didn't disappoint. Spier is a magical place, very friendly and helpful staff, plenty of outdoor activities from running, walking routes to wine tasting, picnics and restaurants with great food choices. Once again we enjoyed a very relaxing stay. We had one negative incident, some items from our laundry were not returned, management were very apologetic but items were not found. Laundry identification system needs improvements

"Thank You - wedding amidst a global crisis"

I sadlyy didn't get to go to South Africa and stay at the stunning Spier Hotel due to the Corona crisis, BUT I wanted to thank the hotel for keeping to their commitments and providing my friends with the wedding they deserved... Maybe with only a fifth of the guests, but still from the photos they sent me they enjoyed themselves as much as they could. Hoping to make it to Cape Town in the near future and the best of luck!

Everything was fab. Stayed for 3 nights. We went out the last eve and when we returned our room stank of sewage. Other than that all good. Very comfortable.
