Rooms very tired beds very soft Bathroom sofa dispenser off wall sealant missing around shelf area.generally place needs a revamp and some money spent on it . Concern over hygiene in cooking area in reception staff left outside coats on trolleys and worktops

Close to doncaster racecourse within walking distance

Rude staff when checking in uncomfortable bed room wasnt very clean carpets had mold on them shower was dripping all night beds got more springs sticking up then the factory sells Looks like an old people's retirement home from 70s no beer on draft at all got a Guinness can even tho they was Guinness glasses on shelf i had to use a carling glass that had stained lipstick on

Currently staying here as it’s an ideal location for the racecourse (about a 15 minute walk). Check in was easy though the lady on the counter (oldish with hand tattoos) was rude, grumpy and abrupt. Though the two lads working on the bar on the evening were nice. The bar looks nice but is dated and doesn’t have any draught beers and does close early, although there’s a garage around the corner if you want to drink in your room (they did give me that option to also). Rooms are quite dated, mine has a lamp that doesn’t work and the plug for the bath was far too small so was only left with the option of a shower which isn’t ideal as I was with my toddler so I was unable to bathe her. The inside door doesn’t close either so for my safety I had to prop something in front of it just for my safety. If I were to go racing again and stay overnight I would stay here just for the location but that aside I wouldn’t go out of my way.
