Club Wyndham Cypress Palms

We had our 11 and 10 year old grandkids with. They absolutely loved the experience. The pools were great. We played shuffleboard and mini golf at least a couple times. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything you needed was stocked in the kitchen. We shopped at Aldis which you could walk to. Very pleased with the week. Beds were comfortable.

The pool was amazing and the grill easy to use

I had a spider in my kitchen. A big one. But that can happen anywhere.

Terrible time. Couldn't cook a meal. Kitchen was overrun with ants. Exterminator came but it didn't work. Come prepared to not use your kitchen!!! Bathroom was dirty. Carpet needs cleaning.

Room carpet had brown stuff on it Sofa bed caved in the middle Shower - the drain did not drain Blankets and comforters paper thin Then upon check in -they scheduled us for a meeting with a Wyndam rep for the updates with the “merge with travel and leisure “ 1 1/1 hour later they were trying to sell us more timeshare Just the worst vacation and first time using our time share I have ever had

We stayed at Cypress Palms while searching for a home to purchase in Florida, so it wasn’t exactly a vacation. We found this to be a basic resort. The one bedroom was small, the kitchen was more like a kitchenette. Nice place to stay if you’re not looking for anything fancy.

Very noisy. I stayed on the first floor. The walls are thin and heard every noise from upstairs and next door plus outside the windows. All hours of the night I could not sleep. It ruined my vacation. The place itself is nice and a good location but if you stay here get a higher floor that might help with the noise.

First, the check in process was horrendous. They claimed they didn't have my reservation and it was under another name as a family member that was an owner through RCI. Then they claimed we needed a guest certificate with our name on it, which we did not have because the reservation confirmation we had was under our name. The worst part was their was a gentleman employee (Ariel) that spoke English to all other guests we seen him work with but when working with us, he talked in a foreign language to the female employee (Gabby) and then would laugh/have a smirk to share. We have no doubt he was instructing her to basically play games with our reservation. She then stated until we had the guest certificate we couldn't check in. We never did get a guest reservation certificate from RCI under my name but did get one in my father's name, who was not listed on the reservation. All of the sudden, after about two hours of "frustrating discussion", the reservation magically appeared and we were allowed to check in. Upon getting to our room, the carpet was soaking wet. We called the front desk immediately, with them stating it was because we were in our room a half an hour early. Mind you, we stepped on this area of the carpet one time and had a sock that you could wring water out of it so there was no way it was just not dry. After complaining for two days and having multiple workers look at it, we finally got the maintenance supervisor to come and he agreed there was an issue with the AC. Oscar Oviedo. By far, the most helpful employee on the property. He and Lucy from the front desk were the only two employees who tried to help. On Tuesday evening, we finally moved to a different room that was dry and actually was a little nicer than the original one. I give full credit to Oscar and Lucy for their assistance. However, in regards to the original two employees we worked with, I have no respect for either. They were more interested in talking back and forth in a foreign language and then laughing/smirking as we became more frustrated due to their stories kept changing. With more issues than it was worth, probably would never stay here again. This is the second Wyndham property we have had issues with in Florida so they most likely will not get another chance. We have stayed with Holiday Inn, Marriott and Hilton resorts without any issues in past years and this year so no reason to continue doing business with Wyndham.
