Legacy Vacation Resorts - Palm Coast

Once we got in the room it was clean & comfortable but the 1st room they gave us was run down with holes in the dining room drapes & the living room drapes were just shears that didn't even cover the sliding glass door completely. You could see right through. Unacceptable!

Stayed there the week before, the room was clean but the furniture was very rough to say the least but we decided to book an upgraded room for the following weekend with assurances that it was a much better room. Due to disabilities i required a ground floor room & made the arrangements with the desk clerk in person. Confirmed with her the ground floor premium room. When we arrived the the next weekend the desk clerk advised us they were not able to accommodate our request for a downstairs room & had put us in an upstairs instead. Informed her that was not acceptable. First she stated there were no ground floor rooms available which was strange due to the scarcity of cars in the parking lot, then when we were considering canceling she came up with a ground floor unit but had to downgrade us. We accepted the room but after viewing it it was totally unacceptable. Torn curtains & only shears in the living room that didn't cover the sliding back door. The security pins in the living room & bedroom sliding glass doors where not installed correctly & if you wiggled the door the pins would release leaving the room fully accessible. Whent back & ended up with the original upstairs room where the stairs where extremely uncomfortable & dangerous for me due to leg, back & hip injuries. Will never go back again. The desk clerk did make arrangements for a partial refund of our prepaid reservation but booking.com refused the refund & offered a small travel credit.

We have stayed here more than once and always enjoy the calm and quiet atmosphere. The location is very good, with the ocean not far away, and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. It is especially convenient that the apartment has all the necessary equipment and amenities for a longer stay. Overall, it is a relaxing and practical place to stay in Palm Coast.

We had to throw out 5lbs of burger patties since they got contaminated by flecks of some material that melted from inside the grill. The front desk said they sent several emails to the Manager, but we have yet to hear back (checked out almost 2 weeks ago now). This is our 3rd year staying here, but after this last trip, we may be looking elsewhere for next spring.

The stay was beyond our expectations. We will definitely stay again in the future.
