it was in a neighborhood of homes. Nice bathroom.

not within walking distance of restaurants or groceries. on a busy sometimes noisy street. Second floor walkup room. .

Breakfast not included but there was a pod coffee maker (with pods) and a mini-fridge (for milk). Room old-fashioned in the good way, very clean and tidy, BIG comfortable bed, good lamps and lighting for night time reading, plenty of hot water for showers, plenty of clean towels, very quiet location off main road and commerce, close enough to Sonoma center for dining, shopping. Surprised next morning to find lots of other guests had checked in after we did but we weren't disturbed by them coming or going. Friendly and helpful front desk.

What's not to like? Good value for money.

It's not a "cookie cutter" motel. The room had character, and it was also spotless and comfortable. The people in the office are friendly and helpful. And the fabulous Creekside Cafe is right around the corner.
