Hotel Villa La Tour

I stayed for one night and accidentally left my Apple Watch charger behind. The next day I contacted the property through Booking.com and staff confirmed they had found it. I was told I could collect it on Saturday, as the property would be closed on Sunday. When I arrived on Saturday afternoon, the receptionist was chatting with a woman on the other side of the desk who appeared more like a friend or acquaintance than a guest. I explained that I was there to collect my charger. The receptionist then told me that this woman had also stayed in the same room after me and had left behind an Apple Watch charger. What a coincidence!!! The woman then took an Apple Watch charger out of her bag and handed it to me. What I found concerning was that the charger was clearly labelled with my name, room number and check-out date, meaning it was unmistakably the charger I had left behind. I ultimately got my charger back, but the whole interaction felt very unusual. Given that the charger had been identified and labelled with my details, I was left wondering how it ended up in another person’s possession in the first place. It has not inspired confidence in the handling of guests’ belongings. The location was good and my stay itself was fine. However, this experience left a sour taste, and I would recommend being very careful not to leave any personal items behind when you’re going to and from the accomodation.

Hotels ist super Sweet schon etwas älter muss man also mögen - wie ich finde einen tollen alten Charme. Lage ist sehr zentral, Zimmer war mit Balkon. Rezeption Dame abends war absolut hilfsbereit & sehr nett.

Fenster etwas dünn man hört viel Straßenlärm & die Müllabfuhr.
