LionsDive Beach Resort

Breakfast and restaurant needs to be improved. Staff noy friendly. Beach not clean and price too expensive.

We stayed a week from Fri-Fri during mid-April 2026. The staff were gracious and accommodating. The room was well appointed and clean, with a really nice rain shower. The included toiletries were quite nice. Food choices were fine, and there is a larger choice just down the beach at Mambo Beach. My wife and son had very good experiences with the on-site Oceans Encounters. They did one single tank boat dive and two shore dives. We would definitely go back.

LionsDive is a well-run, beautiful, lively resort with lots to see and do right on the property. My husband and I enjoyed our time there and particularly loved our oceanfront balcony. It was our first trip to Curacao, though, and it wasn't really the right place for us. We didn't end up taking advantage of many of the amenities because we were more interested in exploring the island, its beaches and its sights with our car. We had stayed in (and enjoyed) Scuba Lodge in the city for the first 3 nights and in retrospect, we should have stayed there for the remaining four or moved to some kind of accommodation among the west beaches. If we return to the island with our kids and grandkids, however, we would be happy at LionsDive with its calm, safe lagoon and convenient access to restaurants and stores (Mambo Beach Blvd is not a street, it's a mall). If you reserve here, sign up for their helpful newsletter because it tells you about opportunities such as bonuses for reserving directly, a free guided walking tour, a guided tour to Tugboat or Director's Bay south of the resort, a daily shuttle into Willemstad, etc. I would still rent a car to explore the island for a couple of days tho!

My husband and I went to celebrate our 39th anniversary and to dive. We previously stayed at LDI in 2025 and loved it. The grounds are immaculate and clean, the water is warm and beautiful, the restaurants are convenient and offer a variety of options without ever leaving the resort (we have traveled the island in the past). This trip we just wanted to relax and enjoy the diving and people. Eldrich is a wonderful start and finish rep for LDI. He greets you and handles your luggage to and fro. James st the Hemingway bar has become a pro! He was training our last visit and now a great host for happy hour. Cindy, one of 3 original employees made our anniversary on 4/11 extra special with her Caribbean hospitality. And we love Nemo and Chill! Our stay was more than we expected and will return again to this Netherlands Antilles gem!

Amazing stay! The resort is beautiful. The 2 bedroom apartment was great for our family of 5. Plenty of space. Having a kitchen was very helpful. Piazza was our favorite restaurant. Also close to mambo beach with lots more food options.

Lionsdive is absolutely one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, very clean. The 50m pool is stunning. Always chairs available on the beach. Our room was a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect. The entire dive shop at Ocean Encounters was wonderfully run. My girl Peaches at the towel hut was such a happy part of our stay, we loved chatting and feeding the cats with her every day! This was our second time here and will definitely be back in the future!

Die Beachbars sind richtig cool und man freut sich immer auf die Happy Hour. Die 4 Restaurants sind sehr zu empfehlen, vor allem das Sushi Restaurant am kleinen Pool. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und man sieht, dass man sich viel Mühe mit allem gibt. Die Zimmer sind toll, die Betten super bequem. Ganz toll waren die Trinkflaschen, die man am Anfang direkt gescheckt bekommt, damit man immer Wasser trinken kann. Es wird an alles gedacht. Die Lage ist perfekt, abends kann man am Mambo Beach lang laufen und den Tag ausklingen lassen.

Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Das Frühstück war auch toll, jedoch könnte man das noch etwa/minimal optimieren.

Excelente lugar, muy bonito resort, el personal es muy atento, la comida es muy buena....las habitaciones están muy limpias......
