Perfect spot in Aspen

The Gant is always the perfect place to stay in Aspen. The landscaping and rooms are beautiful and the restaurant is a great addition. Far enough out of town to be quiet, but still easy to walk to town.

+ great friendly staff, great restaurant for breakfast and coffee, easy walk to town. nice big rooms - room was a bit dated with some things not working. needed an update and some maintenance overall excellent ... would stay again

Our luggage was tagged correctly. When we got to our room, there was someone elses bags in our room. It took an hour for them to find it. While we were out for a few hours, a maintenance person came and went. No one told he would be in our room, and we were not informed. I figured that out on my own. We were supposed to have our bags picked up at 830 am and no one showed up. After I called down someone finally came. We have been to the Gant before and loved it, this time, not so much

The rooms are very clean and the staff was very nice

This is not a great hotel. The a/c did not work at all in the main room and there are many things missing that you would expect. For example there are not filters for the coffee machine, no 24 hour front desk to help you and no bottled waters on the property. There is also no food, not even a small cafe! I would not stay here unless you are aware it is NOT A HOTEL. It is more like an unserviced condo.

The staff were very nice and condo was well appointed, decorated and clean but: 1. For some reason, their system checked us out of our room every day and our keys wouldn’t work 2. The coffee maker leaked coffee all over the counter despite being replaced twice. See picture below. I recommend they buy a Kuerig not a Hilton. 3. They came into and cleaned our room when I asked them not to 4. The condo was dark, cold and had no view. We felt like we were living below ground level.
