Le Clos De Mutigny

Looks good and nice grounds but there are MUCH nicer places to stay.

We had a room in the Pavilion rather than the main hotel (no choice) on opening the door it smelt unpleasant. I have never had such a small room for two people. Truly not fit for purpose could barely move around the bed let alone store luggage for two people. The bed was small too. Huge pillows were very uncomfortable. Sound proofing was awful - kept awake by noisy upstairs guests and flushing loo’s. Cleanliness not great - dirty toilet brush in the en-suite and overall not perfect. Very limited food choice for evening meals and poor breakfast with little choice, no fresh coffee just from a machine and a small over crowded breakfast room. Very over-priced.

Its position and gardens it is very quiet and offers all you need for an overnight stop good parking and nice food

Everything! It’s extremely clean and well presented from the rooms to the gardens to the food. Staff are super friendly and helpful, it’s a gem!

It had character and history. The staff were friendly and the dinner was really good standard as well as being good value for money. We also enjoyed the breakfast with a machine to press fresh orange juice. There was a stream running through the grounds and some viewpoints and a little bridge.

Some of the decor was a bit faded and the grounds could do with some renovation but that did not distract much from its charm. Only stayed one night and would have booked there for our return journey but there was not a room available.

The location, staff, food and general atmosphere was perfect and made for a really lovey vacation. the area around the hotel was well kept and just beautiful.

Nothing at all what an amazing place.
