Flamingo Motel

My one complaint would be the lack of emergency lighting in the stairwells. Power went out and it pitch black going down the stairs. Also, the water in the shower was extremely hot.

Near to boardwalk so we could ride bikes to and from the festival.

No hot water!! Informed staff who told us no one else has complained, so we had no hot water for showers. No remedy for problem. Very disappointing.

The view

The property was old, smelly, dirty, and our door to our room did not work properly. I reported it to the front desk staff and I got “Oh yeah, OK I’ll look at it.”

The staff immediately fixed the bath tub once they were notified.

Bathtub flooding, no blankets, price of hotel went down $400 after we checked in, didn’t have a do not disturb sign, 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 guys, 7 minors in one room drinking alcohol causing a headache with loud music and banging on peoples doors.

The view from my room was nice for the location other than that no other positive.

Staff was I knowledgeable and didn’t answer when calling down there. Cleaning staff didn’t restock toilet paper had a half of a roll upon arrival. The property was in terrible shape. Smelled like wet mildew or dog in the room mainly from the carpet was so gross my feet were black if I didn’t wear shoes. The ceiling tile in the bathroom was falling down. Holes in the walls they were also filthy. Had to unplug lights to charge the phone. Limited channels on tv no WiFi available to utilize the downloads on the TV. There was dust everywhere. The heating and cooling unit smelled when in use in use also big gap in between allowing outside elements to come in if wanted. I called before arrival after looking at recent reviews I booked this months ago for a trip planned with my son. The owner assured me it was a previous owner and that they are way better and my stay would be pleasant reviews were incorrect. Very dishonest. And didn’t not attempt to remedy anything.

The beach view. Dog friendly! Location was perfect. Friendly staff. Price was definitely decent.

Disappointed in a not being able for late check out.
