Good place to stay for golfers. Would not suit young couples as guests on the whole are seniors. That saying, close to beach and 15 min walk to town centre.

All good except the restaurant seems very understaffed e.g. running out of cutlery, glasses, sugar at breakfast. Tried dinner buffet one evening and wouldn't recommend - hot dishes tepid, system confusing. But the place is attractive, clean, convenient and reception staff are excellent.

Front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. Room and bathroom were clean. We were only there for one night and so the shower in the bathroom was adequate. There was a "rain" shower but it didn't rain very hard. There was also a shower attached to the bath but between us we could figure out how it could be turned on. However, this didn't spoil our stay here, the hotel was conveniently located to Alvor village and we took a taxi for 5 euros to the restaurants. They had entertainment in the lounge/bar on Saturday night. Excellent breakfast in the morning with everything imaginable. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again.

"A winters break in Portugal"

We chose to upgrade the room and had a sea view from the top floor. The views were amazing and the small balcony had the sun from midday. The rooms are on the small size but adequate, the safe and hair dryer is a good addition. Buffet breakfast has a good selection also eggs,pancakes and omelettes can be freshly cooked. Table tennis table on site is useful.
