We stayed 5 nights, location is excellent, a busy little neighbourhood. Totally soundproof, great air conditioning, super comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom was very spacious with a huge window! Bonus. The staff were the best, went out of their way to accommodate guests. Surprised me with chocolate and perfume at breakfast and fruit and chocolate in the evening for my 60th birthday. So lovely. Breakfast was great, lots of choices and fresh too.

Breakfast Police I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels across Europe, and honestly this was the first time I felt less like a guest and more like someone being monitored. The issue was not a few cookies and small pieces of cake from breakfast. Rules can exist anywhere — that’s not the problem. The problem was how this situation was handled. After I had already taken the items, one employee approached me speaking only in Spanish and explained that taking them out was not allowed. I understood the situation and immediately responded politely that I would be careful from the next day onward and would not do it again. I also specifically said that since I had already taken them, I hoped they would not simply be thrown away. At that point, I thought the situation was solved. But while I was already walking out of the breakfast area, another employee came after me and literally took the cookies and cakes back from my hands. That was the moment this stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like some strange display of authority and control. A simple polite warning at the moment I was taking them would have solved everything in seconds. Instead, the hotel chose to create an unnecessarily awkward and humiliating experience over a couple of breakfast snacks. Hotels are remembered not because of their furniture or breakfast buffet, but because of how they treat people. And unfortunately, this experience felt cold, robotic, and unnecessarily hostile.

Hotel je na dobroj lokaciji blizu glavnih znamenitosti. Iako smo došli automobilom, za vrijeme boravka ga nismo koristili. Osoblje je izuzetno ljubazno. Malim detaljima kao što su pranje stakla na autu i mogućnost biranja jastuka od perja trudili su se naš boravak učiniti još ugodnijim. Omogućili su nam i sobu s kadom. Soba je prostrana s udobnim krevetom. Fini doručak.
